L'Enfer

Certain words, (with)in certain songs, go beyond style and language, but definitely never beyond feeling.

Stromae's "L'Enfer" is sublime, just like "Quand c'est" was, about 7 years back. In any shape or form, it captures what so many of us, who "are not proud of it", have wanted to sing about all along (silently).

The setup in this "interview" just makes it better. Worth many a listen. And for one to think about the subdued shame he still feels, anyway, eyes dropping down, in sullen acceptance; back up and into one's vulnerable soul.
